With 8 games left in the season, I’m predicting the Saints miss finals on percentage.
Norf beat Darebin 57-8, and despite that will miss finals by even more percentage.

Accounting for the two remaining Rd 13 games (including a conservative prediction of us losing to Port) and predictions for Rd 14, I have the ladder looking like this…
First week of Finals (Prediction)
Q/F - Port Melbourne v Collingwood at North Port Oval. Sat July 8 12:05pm
1 E/F - Williamstown v Carlton at Point Gellibrand. Sun July 9 3:35pm
2 E/F - Box Hill Hawks v Essendon at Box Hill City Oval. Sat July 8 2:05pm
Second week of Finals (Prediction)
Major S/F - Port Melbourne v Essendon at North Port Oval. Sat July 15 2:05pm
Minor S/F - Collingwood v Carlton at AIA Centre. Sun July 16 2:05pm
Third week of Finals (Prediction)
P/F - Port Melbourne v Collingwood at North Port Oval. Sun July 23 4:05pm
Grand Final (Prediction)
Essendon v Port Melbourne at North Port Oval. Sun July 30 12:08pm
Yeah nah… Norf will beat the Pies next week.
And Willy losing to FCFC? Never!
(I still can’t believe this is the same team I saw get destroyed by Footscray. They were lucky to be Darebin-level that day.)
Finishing a season on 0 wins is, needless to say, not great for morale. Yeesh.
The question is, how long can a club like Darebin, without the resources like an AFL or old VFA club continue to battle on in the VFLW?
The theory has been around for awhile that their licence would one day be transferred to Coburg, and Darebin would then go back (fully) to the NFNL.
HAHAHAHAHA
Will be an extremely sad day. I know a few people involved in Darebin on the outside and they love their vflw team.
Seeing Frew named is so bittersweet. She is absolutely killing it there.
(touching wood)
She isn’t.
Caruso is going very well, though.
Jayda Richardson here as emergency.
Clifford has her left calf strapped.
LOL, Wilson is a fan of “Let’s go Bombers Let’s go!”
… she provides the not-sure-if-ironic CLAP CLAP
In warmup the crosswind is playing havoc with ball drops and flight through the air.
Reese and Orritt with the forwards.
Ford and Ugle with the defenders.
(as is emergency Jayda)
Prpic Cornish Davidge Molan Chaston with the mids.
