Time for us to put up, or shut up.
They found a new way to miss the start of the final quarter Guessing it’s also why we missed the first two, but they snipped those two out instead.
The candy/blind turn by Chaston in the opening seconds, is

From 2:10 Molan is guarding the corridor and makes the corral/smother to get the ball back. Chaston kicks it in deep, and Manfre beats two Dogs in reading the flight. Meg does the double arm pump.
We are Live Ladder back in the finals. But we know any loss or draw will kill us.
Davidge making an appearance on the near wing for the centre clearance.
At 4:00 you may notice a different yobbo relocated to the far wing for the second half, and is persistent with his advice as to how the game should be played. At least La Presidenta has SOME company over there.
That is a seriously harsh fifty at 4:20. Just call the player back a metre.

7:25 Wilson makes sure the ump sees her being illegally tackled. Onto Manfre for the out-body-ing mark. Onto the Mia lead… second ump has to run in to pay the hacking free.

Hurrell contested mark to kill their attack. I under-appreciated her game prior to re-watch. Those stats were real.

11:05 Pearson desperation stops the game being tied up. Takes a heavy blow from that.
11:45 Manfre having a huge quarter. BALLLLLLLLLLL! Ump doesn’t want to pay it, but the crowd is loud.
How the hell is Molan that free? And how the hell does she miss? It’s not that handy a point, as it remains one kick to a draw and no finals.
Plenty of commentary from our bench picked up.
Second ump has to run in at 13:15 to penalise Dicker for not playing nice.
Hurrell out-marked, they’re running free to fifty; dear reader, I was laying bricks. The Chaston smother saves us.
The ump at 14:05 is 100% guessing.
The umps at 14:20 don’t care about the sling after the ball is gone. Bloody Footscray and their bloody free passes.
Watch from 14:25 for THE PLAY: Crook disposes of their giant, Huta shimmies through congestion. Morrow kicks to the wing; Davidge is tackled and just gets the kick away. Orritt collects and kicks long… the ball bounces sixty out, and The Beast has got the break. She collects, she runs to the pocket, she kicks… SHE GOALS!
She also did the celebration below when she kicked her first EFC goal… but not for the next three. This is her first second EFC goal. Please let us see this sequence continue into the final series.

Mia gets smashed AGAIN. All three were deliberate.
The poster at 17:15 is agonising, but also a huge relief. Now Footscray need to score three times in ~90 seconds to draw… once you subtract the time lost getting the ball back to the middle of the ground.
Huta has done more than I thought she did.
Hurrell just throwing her body into a collision at 17:55, anything to stop the Dogs moving forward.
Crook smother. Hurrell tackle. Kenny and Dicker tackle. Meg tackle. Sutton: TARGET LOCKED, TARGET LIQUIDATED. That is how we have won games, and it’s how we can win finals.
