Grace Dicker – Essendon (VFLW)
The Match Review Panel charged player Dicker for Rough Conduct on Carlton FC player Brooke Vernon during the third quarter of the VFLW Round 3 match between Carlton and Essendon on Sunday 27 February at IKON Park.
Based on the available video evidence and medical report, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct with Severe Impact and High Contact. The incident has been referred directly to the VFL Tribunal.
Outcome – pleaded guilty to the rough conduct charge of careless conduct, high impact, high contact and was successful in downgrading the charge. As a result, player Dicker was suspended for two (2) matches.
