80 seconds…
Melnikas takes the hit to force another stoppage. Good girl!
Nearly there!
WE WIN!
HISTORIC WIN!!!
YES!!!
W win the weekend!
Hobbs’ dad is BIG, which makes sense.
How did we hold out and win it? Tough, relentless, pressure football. Amazing win!
Eva Harris “only” an MCL. Likely return this year.
Freya scheduled for round 10 return.
Wales for second half of the AFLW season.
Hobbs is a gun, Prince wins again.
Bonnie breaking her running PBs.
The talls are rebounding!
Much appreciation for the commentary.
Shallow view is Jayda didn’t have much go her way today, but she topped the game’s score involvements with 4 (eleven of our players with 2 or 1 below her).
She also, along with Maddison Albrecht, topped our forward fifty entrances with 4.
No big surprise with MFord having the game-high 4 rebounds. Was tied with ex-Pioneer Jemmika Douglas, who fell short of playing with us last year and then of getting drafted.
Brooke Plummer had the game-high 6 intercept possessions, though.
Headline says Reynolds 25 hit-outs to Prince’s 13, but they weren’t that directed and the big lump did little else. Prince 12 disposals, 5 tackles, 3 clearances, 3 inside fifties. And HOBBS, 2.1 and three inside fifties and best ruck when actually there.
We had 7 of the top 9 markers, with Chaston on 8. As suggested by the season stats summary at the start of this thread, Norf handballed much more than us and we kicked and marked much more than them.
Chaston also top tackler with 8 (tied with di Cosmo). Melnikas and Jordan both had as many tackles (7 and 6) as disposals!
Barba topped the game with 7 clearances. Abbey and Scarlett next with 5 and 4.
Plummer and Tay Hart-Aluni (with Azzorpardi peeking at the left, and Beth Keaney keeping the lid on it at the right)
