We have never lost at Casey, and had some miraculous comebacks there (notably the first final win, and that big final quarter by Lucy Thompson last year).

This is set to be Tia Davidge’s 50th game. She would have broken Tamsin Crook’s record as youngest (modern) VFLW player to do that if this season hadn’t been scheduled so ridiculously late.
She is set to have played 50 of a possible 52 games (yes, we played a stack of AFLW players in that one game last year, but it was still ridiculous to have her as an out that day).
She has kicked more goals against Casey than any other EFC player.
Should be a tough, competitive game. Both sides badly need this win.
Oddly, Casey forecast is near-zero wind and no rain… but don’t worry, we’ll still be lucky if it gets over 10 degrees.
Where have other (non-injured) players been?
- Sarah Ford has played one game with Kew in the VAFA
- Maddison Albrecht has played three games with Craigieburn in the EDFL (16-30 May)
- Tay Hart-Aluni got her fourth game in with the Fitzroy Stars after being dropped.
- Taylah Gilcrist had played two games with Strathmore earlier (in the first one she kicked three goals)
- Hasn’t played, but Georgia Tyrrell is a teammate of Jayda at St Josephs.
- Brianna Lambe has had four games with Boronia in the E ‘effin Hell.
- Klaumanns-Moller one game with St Mary’s Diamond Creek Div 1.
- I see nothing for Shakaila Gardiner-Dunn or Marnie Robinson.

To be actually fair, we no longer have THE subject matter expert as our head coach…
NO CHANGES (but check out the first and last emergencies!)

Elsewhere, Norf respond to their FF only kicking 7 goals last week by bringing in Nyakoat Dojiok.
May God have mercy on our VFLW souls.
(To be actually fair their as-of-last-week-secondary-FF, Knoll, is out injured.)
Casey’s outside game must be HORRID…

FWIW, Jayda has not played for St Josephs today… she missed the “fun” of a 38.16.244 to 0.0.0 win.
One of their players kicked 14 goals…
Also, whoops: Gardiner-Dunn has been playing as a 19yo for Oakleigh Chargers and the NT.
Now feel free to blame me if bad us turns up tomorrow… but after Willy splatted Sandy tonight, we can relatively easily move from 11th to 4th on the ladder with (around) a three goal win over Casey.
Forecast is for decent conditions.
We want the blue below.
I’d give Lucy “Loose Goose” Thompson a good knee for her 20th birthday, but I don’t have any of them.
