I sold my coloured Hoarmoaning at Gaslight years ago. Can’t bring myself to see what they fetch on the collector market these days…

I looked on Discogs. Woh! I wonder if my brother still has his copy.

Now go look at the price of the original Love Buzz single :open_mouth:

Discogs delivery!
Yay!
I’m a man of simple tastes. I don’t need the original covers or anything fancy.

Friggin’ classic.
I thought I’d catch more heat for Orchard Road, which I maintain is a great song.
Not a guilty pleasure.
Not so bad it’s good.
A great, great song.

Nah Leo was/is a great singer. Questionable material at times, but he gets a tick from me. I can only vaguely remember Hayzee whatever they’re called. Looked like Freo mall people, yeah?

Cowboy goth, which was an interesting look for sure.
My collection does now contain a Chris De Burgh song though.
And I’m going to have to live with that.

Yeah. You’re on your own with that CDB one…

Never liked Haysi’s music, but certainly recall that the female vocalist (Kate Garner) was smoking hot!! She went on to become a highly renowned photographer (a lot of musician promo shots were taken by her).

I don’t say this about many women, but her midriff was really something else.

Always looking for more.
Specifically 80’s stuff that I couldn’t afford as a kid.
I’m not after rare stuff or promotional copies or Japanese pressings. It’s not an investment, I just love playing them and having them.

great thread. i started off my collection sifting through my parents’ (unused, dust gathering) boxes over ten years ago and plucking out a few. fast forward to now and sitting with just over 400 LPs.

one of the most enjoyable things i’ve done is catalogue everything into your collection in discogs. a great way to go through your collection and chuck something on you may have forgotten about or haven’t listened to in years.
