I’ll have a squizz for some 80’s stuff and list them. There should be a couple you may enjoy!
No doubt!
Thanks!
Very helpful to keep track of what press I have and what I’m looking for when crate digging.

These one.
Sorry.
couple of highlights from my 45 collection
If I recall correctly (maybe one of the oldsters like me can confirm), “Zoom The Bombers are soaring” made it into the top 40 at the time, Somewhere in the 30 to 40 range I think Sorry re the amateur’s quality, old equipment lol
A beautiful record right there, screaming out for an UltraSonic Cleaner to bring it back to its former glory.
Lime green aye ?
I had you pinned as a jet black kinda guy.
Nice record
I think Essendon wanted to replace the club song with a new club song “Zoom the Bombers are soaring” but the supporters never took to it ( to be polite). I can’t really remember exactly when it was, and much else about it. Perhaps Noonan or Capt Jack who seem to know a bit about the history could shed some light. I think they would probably have more brains cells left that me as well
Yes, Noonan would be best to ask.
I believe he went to school with Robert McCracken as a wee lad.
I remember “We’re called the Bombers”, which looks like the B side to “Zoom” there, much better than the A side. I think Uncle Doug introduced it. Mid-late 70s?
Sounds like a sea shanty lol
the most perfunctory lyrics ever
we are good at football, particularly in the midfield, and we will win enough games to qualify for the finals
Can’t help with this one, l have never heard of the song, only the good old tune based on Sunny Side Up.
Just kept to the basics, “go our merry way”, “in the premiership we’ll play”. Singled out as greatest team of all, mentions colours worn, multiple use of the verb “to strive”. Truck would love those blue collar 1%ers.
Perhaps lacks some flair.
