Ive been getting turntable upgrade-itus…but unless we (family) fall into a really nice chunk of cash, or I sell some guitar and amps, its just not gonna happen.
I cant stop looking at pictures of the Thorens TD1500.
They go for about 3800. Which would make it the most expensive piece of gear I own by a good nearly 2k. Buying from a European store, you could probably get one for 2700, which almost makes it obtainable, in an alternate universe…
Either way…it aint gonna happen. But one of those babies in walnut and Id be set.
