Lovely delivery from Ancient Grease Records today. A label that specialises in early 70s era obscure heavy burn out stoner rock.

Every record comes with a nice little book about the history of the band and they threw in a heap of stickers.

Stoked.

Great label - I have the Fresh Blueberry Pancake reissue somewhere.

Yeah I want to get more of there stuff. Only got to listen to Children amd Egor tonight. Blown away by both.

Have you checked out Guerssen Records much?

Yep. Got a handful. Like some more too. Im sucker for that late obscure 60s early 70s hard rock stuff. And I’m happy to own represses. Never been an original press chaser.

Oh mate… its obscene. Fair enough too. Its some of the best stuff out there. So good theres labels researching and repressing.

Currently listening to Grand Theft. Its so good. First track Side 2: Log Rhythms/Meat Midgets. Absolute jam. Title absolutely delivers.

Beautiful label art too…

Yep. Money well spent

Not that I intend on buying one as I’m quite happy streaming Tidal off my phone using a tiny DAC/AMP.

However, this little DAP is cute as, and I love the retro tape playing display…

I was thinking with AI nowadays, it would be quite simple to submit a few paragraphs of your own hand writing, have an App analyse it, then have the player mimick your own handwriting for the Track & Artist info.

Even displaying your Playlists like the back of your mixed tapes, with your own handwriting.

Fk…I’m on to something here !
