I think there’s some imitation ones that fit nice, but genuine milk crates aren’t exactly perfect.
I don’t have a vinyl collection, the milk crates are used for a whole bunch of stuff like camping gear and stuff

I desperately need to find a solution, too.
I wonder if I should try to find a carpenter on hipages or something.
Something like this looks nice (although honestly I think I need more).
I’d have thought you go into a record store and see what they have. Or the ikea bookcase option is probably a decent fit
I’m such a tightarse.
Everything looks ridiculously expensive to me.
You could make that for less than $100
I bought one of these from JB, I just have frequently or recent vinyls in there. What I like is I can just add more boxes sort of modular if needed.
What’s the Smashing Pumpkins box you’ve got there?
Loving seeing these, btw.
Which one are you looking at?
…all of them? I don’t follow.
Sorry, I meant which thing do you think is a Pumpkins box - I don’t have one.
There’s a Split Enz box, a Jam box, a Hunters & Collectors box, a Therapy? box, a Pink Floyd box, a few XTC boxes, a Blur box, a Beatles box.
In AnnSt’s pic.
He has what looks like some sort of deluxe package of Melon Collie in there.
Ah… missed ASB’s post.
I’d like to know the answer too…
Thats very cool
These ideas a great Im going to make a smaller version of a cube thing and make it fit into a space next to my hifi cabinet.
People say this sort of thing to me all the time.
It’s never true.
The Ikea Kallax is definitely the industry standard for housing records. Ive toyed with the idea of getting shelves built, the kallax is just so cheap and effective. Just make sure you either secure them to a wall or drill thickish ply into them as a backing.
Or this might happen…
Legit looks photoshopped
Oh no…
Lol. I legit find that upsetting.
Putting that much vinyl in a cheap, chipboard modular system is asking for trouble though. No way it is accepting that much weight for any period of time without failing.
