We definitely do.
I had that on vinyl, but I think it worked it’s way into my brother’s collection (as some of his worked their way into mine).
Well you deserve to own Revolver on vinyl.
…everyone deserves Revolver on vinly.
it’s hard to believe this room exists.
what’s on everyone’s “jeez i’d love a copy of that in my collection” list?
would love but prohibitively expensive
the darkness - permission to land
sophie ellis bextor - read my lips
unwritten law - unwritten law
the replacements - tim
would love but can’t fkn find it
hilltop hoods - the calling
the saints - eternally yours
catatonia - international velvet
My Heart’s On Fire 12" - Machinations.
I’ve always like that version and I buy a lot of extended mixes. But it’s stupid expensive for no reason that I can see, which is not why I want it.
Oh, I’d also like a 12" of Kylie’s Confide In Me.
Gettable in the UK, but the postage is murder.
Surely that’s in every JB
Edit: nope it’s crazy expensive. Damn I knew heaps of people that had that back then. Hope they kept it.
Ohhh, and I’d looooove Australian Crawl’s Final Wave…
I could probably keep going forever as these things pop into my head.
Id love an original pressing of Electric Ladyland. Not because i seek out original pressings, I couldn’t care less about em, but thats my favourite album of all time, so it woud be nice to have.
Other than that theres a few old weird records I really like that have only been pressed once that Id love to see reissued.
Who hates it when records do not state Side A/1 or B/2 on the label…fucken me, that’s who.
I’d love to find a nice copy of Buffalo - Volcanic Rock at a garage sale or op shop
I did find a copy of their first album ‘Dead Forever’ but the cover was water damaged and side 2 was unplayable.
Recently grabbed ‘Permission to Land’ Blue Marbled Anniversary reissue. Sooooo good!
fkng what!!!
where’s my wallet
Neil Young (with Pearl Jam) - Mirrorball
Grinspoon - Guide to Better Living (it’s out there somewhere!!!)
Tom Petty - The Best of Everythinng 4LP
But in all honesty Mirrorball is like my holy grail.
I’d like a copy of:
XTC - Wrapped In Grey 7 inch (1992)
XTC - 3D single 7 inch (1977)
There’s only a handful of each in the world and they go for HUGE sums of $$ (well into the 1000’s)…
Also, the US Beatles compilation Yesterday And Today with the withdrawn sleeve (them in lab coats covered in doll parts and fake blood).
Just edited my comment to include ‘blue marbled’ vinyl
An original or Music On Vinyl pressing of Pulp’s “Different Class”. All others apparently sound like crap and these are pricey.
An original Clouds’ “Penny Century”
Two bands where I have everything I want expect for one 7” that continues to elude me:
New Order - Thieves Like Us 7”
Screeching Weasel - Pink Lincolns split 7”
No idea how good they’ll be but I just received a flag this morning that the entire Clouds discography is being re-released as a box set in April next year (including vinyl).
