She’s kneeling and worshipping at the altar of Dogg…
Yeah the contrast is very Renaissance painting esq. Looks cool.
Could be an album cover in itself
Been in a buying frenzy the last 3-4 weeks. Below are the better albums that I have accumulated, for around the $230 mark in total.
The Blue Oyster Cult has the Wrong record in it. It is actually Blue Oyster Cult - Blue Oyster Cult.
The most surprising one is the Surfin’ Down Under. That is nearly worth what I paid for all of em.
Went through the B Area, and found stuff I didn’t know I ha-a-aaaad.
Could have easily accidentally bought this again.
Good album mate, anyone that says otherwise doesn’t like music.
It’s a wildly inconsistent album. Its best is really, really good. Its worst is misguided, dreary and really weak.
As with pretty much all double albums, there’s a great single album padded out with a bunch of much lesser stuff…
But I like Van Diemen’s Land.
And…a double album gives them space.
And…I know older blitzers felt this harder but…
Kick and This…
…was like OMG It’s HERE!
Yeah that one would make the cut if I pruned it to a single album…
That and 1977 are definitely their highpoints, album-wise.
A great singles band though…
Man. I went into JB today. The price’s of records was nothing short of hilarious.
I am still soooo ■■■■■■ at one of my mates grabbing Born Sandy Devotional in the local record shop vinyl clearance.
“You don’t even like them…”
shrugs
Also, I still have grandpa issues about pricing.
Singles should be $3.
12”s $6.
Albums $13.
Like they were forty years ago.
I know that’s insane, but I can’t shake it.
