3 Gleeson (ok game)
2 Baguley (meh, but worked hard)
1 Langford (good first half)

No votes from me this week.

There should actually be an opportunity to take votes away this week. It was the most pathetic Essendon performance in years. Maybe this could be our tiny contribution to saying “enough is farking enough”.

-1: Green
-2: Hartley
-3: Colyer.

Dishonourable mentions to Goddard, McGrath, Fantasia, Zaharakis.

don’t know how any defender gets a vote when they scored 70% of their goals with a loose man 15mtres out or closer.
Surely the defenders job is to close that ■■■■ down first.
They even took an uncontested mark in the goal square from a throw in in their own forward line. We forget to defend that ■■■■ as well.

Hard to defend when the midfield slug brigade (Goddard, Watson, Heppel) are not covering there mids.

  1. Gleeson. Least worst.

  2. Watson. Didn’t do too much wrong

  3. Goddard. Got a lot of the ball. Used it ineffectively but at least didn’t turn it over every time

2 votes B Goddard
1 vote D Heppell

Pathetic performance.

Gleeson

Joe

Langford was good for his adjusted “youngster” expectations but not “votes” good.

Yeah, wasn’t walla’s best game but he tried harder than most.

There are only two or three players names whose names would not be here. So rather than single any player out I’ll include the lot. Most insipid performance I’ve seen in a long time. No presence whatsoever, a team of cardboard replicas running hither and yon.
