I wasn’t there, but I think I know what Blitzers want.
Match sim had some really encouraging moments from our young players and the SSP group.
Fejo owned his wing, showing a few moments of blistering pace with deft touch in his kicking to find a leading forward a couple of times. He twice hit Baldwin and once hit Jones on perfectly timed leads to the hole 30m out at CHF.
Wanganeen gave an insight into his potential. He took screamer over the pack which was very reminiscent of his Dad, and he moved very smoothly through traffic when in possession. Didnt waste a touch.
The Davey boys will probably both go top 20 next year, and Foley hopefully slips to outside the pick 40 range. Could be a special group coming through.
Hobbs was everything the big bodied mid wanting brigade has been wanting. He just went about his business at the stoppages, but also spread really nicely.
Baldwin kicked 4 in about 20 minutes of match sim, and Jones got involved showing good signs in his recovery.
Interesting to watch was Lord. Looked like we have one here.
