Watching AFL in Rome

Currently in Rome Italy. Is there somewhere I can watch the Dreatime game? My KAYO account is blocked overseas

When in Rome…

Sorry that’s all I had.

If you’ve got a VPN or can get one, that should get around the geoblocking from Kayo.

Could try a vpn to aus probably best to avoid free ones

When we were in Rome going back a few years ago now, we watched the AFL and NRL Grand Finals at an Irish Pub.
It was underground, if that’s any help.

I think it might have been this one.

Watch afl.com.au
Have to pay.

Tried a VPN and still didn’t work.

Mrs Wim advises it was this one.

Which is Scottish, but same diff. ducks

We used a VPN in Italy last year many times to watch Kayo. If it doesn’t work first go, keep trying, changing IP address each time.
Edit: it was a Nord VPN

or, you could enjoy Rome! Go for a walk, see something aside from Essington.
You know we will get away early, Tiggers will come back, and we might win, or lose, by 5 points.

You could ask the Embassy.
Piazza Navona used to be the best place for ice cream.

Essington has little support from there. After all, what did the Romans ever do for us?

How far back does Essington go, Roman times were before the internet, although I’m sure there was an Essington in the chariot races,

I hope you don’t mind me checking…
AI Overview
Yes, Roman times were before the invention and widespread use of the internet. The Roman Empire existed from approximately 27 BC to 476 AD, while the modern internet as we know it didn’t come into existence until the late 20th century, particularly with the birth of the TCP/IP standard in 1983, according to University System of Georgia.

Thanks for clarifying, how silly can I be. I was going back to the …what have the Roman’s done for us…, but got sidetracked.

Yes if you have data roaming you can watch it on Kayo using your data in Australia. I was in Thailand a couple of years ago, I tried using Kayo with a VPN and it wouldn’t let me. I had roaming with Vodafone and used my data in Australia because technically it thinks your still in Australia.
