Qualifying Final 1 - FRE vs SYD Saturday 12th September 1.20pm Domain Stadium
Elimination Final 2 - WB vs ADEL Saturday 12th September 7.20pm MCG
Elimination Final 1 - RICH vs NMFC Sunday 13th September 3.20pm MCG

I have a bit of interest in Week 1, think both the WA teams can go through - especially if Isaac Smith doesn’t get up (I rate him as one of the most important players). Sydney are a real chance to go out in straight sets (now with Parker and Jack ruled out) their midfield is starting to look thin. Have a run with player to go with Hannerbery.
Doggies shafted by the AFL, with the MCG hosting the game. Hope the doggies get through. Tigers, North - loser will deemed to have a disappointing year. Think North a better positioned to get through, more finals experience and have a good record on the tigers. The tiger tears will be hilarious.

The Richmond North game is the most interesting for me.
Hardwick had to win a final or risk getting sacked.
Scott had to make a prelim or risk getting sacked.

Either way, one of them is likely to be gone by next week.

I can’t stand the league but I’m still going to try and watch some good footy in the next few weeks, as it seems like it should be quite a good finals series.

This week is particularly interesting as every game is reasonably close to a 50-50. The sort of week where a tipster could easily get 4 or zero.

My tips would be Freo, Hawks, Richmond and the Dogs. None of them with any certainty whatsoever.

I’ll keep interested while the pups & Freo are still involved, & hope like stink that one of them takes it out. I’d like to support Dimma, … but their fans are just barely tolerable as it is with them not being 9th.

I’m pretty certain Hawthorn won’t make it though.

Sydney are missing a few from the middle, like Jack, and Buddy is playing injured. Not sure they have the depth to cover that and still hurt the top teams.
