There was obviously stuff going on in the background when Paddy left. I’m more critical of the manner , and the derailing during that elim final week , than of him leaving as such.

He may actually have some valuable insights as an indigenous welfare position. And maybe ruck coaching as well.

Ryder played good in the final, I blame the managers & Dodoro Hard ball etc.

Experiencing Essendon under Sheedy, Port Adelaide who have good indigenous culture + the saints, with NLM working there, think Ryder could add a lot.

Probably knows the daveys from way back kicking the footy around with their dad too.

i think it’s worse in this instance because the spin put on it.

But I never begrudge any of the 34 for their behaviour. We ■■■■■■ them over.

I loved Paddy and would love to have him back around the club.

It’s the finals derailment that irked me. It was supposed to be one little oasis amidst the rolling catastrophe. My ire mainly lies with his manager for that. If Ryder and the Dons can reconcile post that turbulent time, I’m happy.
