Duurs is taking the pizs - it’s funny, - it’s something he celebrates with his team mates. Looking at Redman as a Dons player, I thought it was cringeworthy & [initially] premeditated, it also looked progressively worse when the goals weren’t coming.
This goes both ways, take off the rose-tinted glasses

Yep. Nothing wrong with a bit of personality. Aussie fans seem to have an affliction to anyone that’s a little quirky. It isn’t a trait that you see in fans overseas

This club has become so f*cking sterile. Personality and individuality has been stripped from our playing list over the last 20 years.
The fact that people are complaining about a goal celebration, really does sum up this club over the last 15 years.
The revival of this club 40 years ago, was heavily built off big personalities and jovial characters.

Duursma I consider him a bonus. I was resigned to losing BZT for peanut draft picks who would never play. He’s proven capable at AFL level so that’s already a win.

I hated it when he pulled off the bow and arrow against us… But that’s kind of the point, isn’t it? Rile up the other team, play with swagger (so long as the game is still up for grabs), give the supporters something to celebrate before the final siren sounds, etc.

watched his tape vs richmond late in the year. It’s, troubling, some kicking and decision making that should see him fit right in with his essington teammates.
