Nah, the non call for the ■■■■ that spun out of the tackle then got tackled and dropped the ball, which was subsequently given a free for a high tackle. That decision right there cost us the game. We had momentum, should have been having a shot for goal and instead, they got the undeserved free which led to a goal for them. 12 point turnaround right there.

We only play to win when the game is over and there is no expectation or pressure on them. Mentally soft.

No. This is second rate thinking. We were not good enough this year. Every match where we could have made something we lost. Keep thinking like you do and good enough is close enough.
This year is a fail and just establishes Essendon as middle of the road.
