What amuses you

Can only imagine the outcome if you try to hack into Vlads wifi

Ive always wondered about the people who drive around in their ford ranger and other oversized trucks with those dinky orange boards for getting un bogged. You see them in the roads of suburbia everywhere.

I suspect they’re never used. Even when I’ve been camping I’ve never seen them used.

After spending a day on the sand dunes outside Dubai in a little buggy, I got to see first hand how the locals drive on sand. Amazing skills. And of none of 1,500+ of these 4x4s had those stupid orange boards on them.

Shower thought.
Does anyone think the concept of riding a broom in Harry Potter is a bit silly? For how magical the world is they still need a broom to fly around on? It would also be so uncomfortable as well. It would be like a wedgie and the pain of your gooch landing on the frame of your bike all in one. Why didn’t the broom have a seat?

It’s a magical broom. Der. So not only would it impose no pain to “gooch” or female equivalents, it must be comfortable at least. And probably outright pleasurable to said nether regions.

Why else would those witches go flying out at night?

I’ve had to take a quick trip to Brissie for a funeral. Generally feeling ■■■■■ but on landing the little kid a few rows ahead was enjoying the descent. When we touched down and the roar of the engines became loud he yelled out “FARRRRRKKKKKK”. Everyone burst out laughing, including me.

I needed that.

full kit wankers: hobby as an identity. not so much interested in the hobby as they are thinking of themselves as the type of person that does the hobby.

they exist in every hobby, not just 4wding

I’ve used them a couple of times to get out of holes on sand tracks/beaches. Can be very handy to have, but I don’t leave them on the car when I’m not off road.

Actually you are right they are probably wankers and don’t know how to use them, but the truth is that Maxtrax boards and other copies are incredibly helpful in getting a bogged car out of trouble. Like a winch, most people don’t want to have to use it but if you are on your own and need it they aren’t many options.

If you want to look at how they are used to get a bogged car out of sand take a look at some of the Dakar footage.

Hires impersonators and entertainers but it’s just him at home. Very funny how awkward it gets and trying to fill the time.

For the past couple of years, an anonymous Portland artist has been surreptitiously placing his/her metal sculptures at various locations around town.

This is their latest creation, which appeared at the local tip last week to keep the multitude of real bin chickens company (no, that’s not me in the pic).

Fox sports rivals show pitting AFL against League against Union to settle who are the best athletes.

And who do they choose to be one of the two guys to represent AFL, a 38 yr old Pendlebury. I know he played basketball, but at this stage of his career, one of the last people you’d choose if you were doing a realistic challenge.

The NRL, and by extension Fox, attitude is so sad and pathetic and 90’s.

I honestly don’t know what they’re doing. The two leagues can and do co-exist and neither is a threat to the other. Neither is going anywhere.

The animosity is just dumb. And you know how it looks when one side tries to whip up a rivalry while the other side doesn’t care.

It is interesting that media needs to invent this stuff to have words to write. I like NRL and when we lived in Sydney went to some games. Most NRL and AFL fans care very little about each other and there is no rivalry between fans that I have seen. Most are just interested at all in the other code.

Sometimes I almost think the guy paid to make his league popular just says things to get into the paper.

Just wait until the AFL come up with the entirely original idea to have opening round in…. I dunno, Atlantic City? in 2028.

legacy media still believes there’s money in a melbourne vs sydney, and by extension afl vs nrl, rivalry. no one else does.

other than v’landys playing the media like a fiddle to keep nrl front and centre, i don’t think anyone in either organisation genuinely cares

Not that anyone on here needs confirmation, but you may be amused but it is not how you should bring up children

Really, Bacchus?

-edit- Bugger it I’ll just delete the post because I cbf having my parenting judged or be given advice to by a ‘father’ whose kid is a meth head and whose grand kids don’t want a bar of them.

Heroin not meth, and relationships with Grandkids is good. My children are another story.

Parenting is never easy especially if you are a ■■■■■■■■ and I probably was. You learn from your mistakes but often it is too late. Such is life,

Crocodile came up, bit my guts out and bit me into parts … pieces and then my legs went that way and then my head went that way
