which head?
Well, both.
I hope one at least is protected…
I’m not asking for special treatment.
Translation: I am absolutely asking for special treatment.
That reminds me of the following true story. Many years ago l was traveling in the Ladakh region via Kashmir. l had gone to a monastery at Hemis just outside the main town of Leh, Also with me was a Pom, who just liked to argue about things. l had just about enough of him. After watching the monks in prayer we hiked back down from the elevated monastery to the road, to wait for a bus. When we got down there l realized l had left my water bottle behind. He said to me, l should go back and get it. didn’t want to miss the bus, so l said no, He urged me to go, saying if it was his water bottle he would definitely go back and get it. I questioned his sincerity on the matter. He assured me his comment was genuine, that if it was his bottle he would go back for it, even though it meant he would miss the bus. So, l said, “Okay then it’s yours.” When he asked me wat l meant,l told him that l was giving it to him, that he could have it. All he had to do was go back the 400 m or so and collect it. He got ■■■■■■, l think he was privately seething. The bus ride back into Leh was blissfully quiet, almost transcendental.
What can go wrong?
Please tell me that is not a real commercial.
It’s real.
Blue tick.
Read the replies if you dare.
And as painfully stupid as it is, … the fact it eventually got posted even here means it’s very effective.
I’m not buying the stuff.
One of my siblings accidently put that easy mac ■■■■ in the microwave one day for way too long. The stench was horrendous and the microwave ■■■■■■. It should be banned.
It took 8 months, but someone finally broadcast on zoom that the compliance meeting we attended was “boring” to all attendees.
Once knew a guy who broke both arms at once tripping somehow on a flat sidewalk…
I saw a guy walk through a garden arch giving his daughter a shoulder ride as I walked the neighbourhood the other day…
Lets just say the garden arch won.
After a few tears and checking daughter ok. Dad. Not so much
Are you a heavy for the mafia?
No…
True story though. Just a very accident prone man…
The poor guys wife had to ahem wipe his behind for a couple of months.
How does one, “ahem wipe”, … I’ve always wondered?
Break 2 arms and find out
My dear old mum who was stubbornly independent took herself off to Moorabbin one day about 20 years ago. She shuffled rather than walked, and as she was getting off the train, tripped and fell, breaking both wrists. I was living in Thailand at the time, when my sister informed me. I knew this was the beginning of the end for both her and dad. Wth her in hospital for an extended period of time, he began to fret, to the extent that his cancer returned. He went down hill fairly quickly after that. With him gone she soon gave up on living. In her own words she was tired of living, there was nothing in her life to look forward to, and she was all worn out, having been heavily involved in raising 4 families.
