Eric “Stumpy Joe” Childs (1966–1967). Choked on vomit of unknown origin, perhaps but not necessarily his own, because “you can’t really dust for vomit.” The name is an homage to “Curly Joe” DeRita of the Three Stooges.

Peter “James” Bond (1967–1977) (Portrayed by Russ Kunkel whose character was mistakenly credited as the name of the previous drummer). Spontaneously combusted on stage during a jazz-blues or blues-jazz festival on the Isle of Lucy, leaving behind what has been described alternately as a “globule” or a “stain”.

European hotels with full buffet breakfasts.
Currently on a work junket in Germany. Seeing all those rolls, meat & cheese, fruit and yoghurt just compelled me to fill my day bag on my free days and feel like a backpacker again at lunchtime…
It’ll make the work expenses claim a few $$ lighter anyway…

Any evidence this is real and not someone’s phony imgur?
I just bought a chicken sandwich and an egg and lettuce sandwich for lunch from my local store and made a joke about the philosophical question it raised. Bewildered silence from the young person behind the counter.
“Which one should I eat first?” I asked. She was still flummoxed and had NFI what I was talking about until a co-worker kindly explained it to her.

I was in Myer a couple of years back and the EFTPOS terminal was playing up. The girl serving me must’ve been in her 20s.
I casually asked, ‘oh, if it doesn’t work you can probably have one of those CRKGKK! CEKGKK!! machines?’ (Motioning left and right with my hand)
“CRKGKK…CRGKK…?” I asked again.
She just looked at me cringing, like I was having some kind of old persons episode.
Finally the EFTPOS came to life, my transaction approved and I simply walked off.
For the kids out there, this is how we cavemen used to pay on credit card.
