What annoys you? Extra time

Bit of an update win from Insurance issues:

Flog features who tried to say my unborn child doesnt count as a person when looking for long term accomodation got the flick!

Also we have been told we now dont have to look for long term stay while house is getting repaired (might just have to go back to house after 20th until they resume work from tradie time off) due to my wife’s high blood pressure from stress and the new consultant said it was poor form from previous flog.

It really really annoys me that when you have been using a product for years, in this case a toothpaste recommended by my Dentist, and it just disappears off the shelves, the Manufacturers website like it never existed and no-one can recommend a replacement that is available in Australia or doesn’t cost $40 a tube.

What was it?

Toothpaste; Colgate Savacol

If you cant get online it might be worth reaching out to colgate.

They rebranded a bunch of toothpastes only a month or two ago.

Good chance it could be sold under a different name.

When movies are shot in the extra wide aspect ratio 2.39:1,
ie. black bars top and bottom.
My parents always zoom in to fill the entire screen real estate.

I keep explaining that they are losing some of the picture, but they don’t get it.

Whilst it’s not a crime, it should be.
It’s akin to slapping the Director in the face

Not as bad as this:

Not happy with the Remastering of the series ?

It was a gross botch: smoothed everyone to look like plastic dolls, widescreen un-cropping meaning you see set edges and filming staff, failure to colour-grade the original film footage (so moody night scenes now occur during the day — kinda important for a show including vampires!), and more.

I have contacted Colgate but no response yet.

I fear it is withdrawn for some nasty reason, probably me being paranoid.

In Singapore, when travelling on a bus, it’s typical passengers will sit on the aisle seat and make you climb over them for a vacant seat next to the window. It’s much easier for them to slide over but no, you gotta be a gymnast climbing over. Druves me crazy.

And whenever they mention anything on Nine or Stan, it needs to be stated that the Age/SMH has a vested interest.

"This masthead"will do as well as anything.

Yeah, that and the crowding around the entrance/exits of trains and busses when there’s stacks of space further inside, so you have to squeeze your way through to get in, or worse you end up not being able to get on.

People who park their car backwards on the street like we’re living in the USA

It’s become a thing here in Perth. Every ba/stard reversing in at shopping centres like they’re about to do an armed rob and will need the quick escape.

Do the same in Hong kong.

Yes and too bad that:

  1. they are crap at reversing in
  2. they are even more crap at driving.

Reversing in is the better option

Slow cook on the BBQ a lamb shoulder(on the bone of course) all day on low heat.

After applying a good rub.

Its incredible. Only lamb roast worth eating and when done right rivals a good beef or pork roast imho.

Also the cheapest cut i think
