That’s ■■■■■■ and if they mislead you try to get it back.

You won’t be getting that promotion every year. But your allowance would have been locked in

Is that due to power outages? I hate changing batteries, would rather reset a clock on power outage than forgeting to change batteries that leak.

Yeah, I don’t get it. What is the point?

G’day Lordo

The best line I heard on this (and it was about our Institute’s HR) was:

“There is no humanity in Human Resources”.

Yeah, had a flicker this afternoon. So of course the oven and microwave need doing. Can’t they put in those 2032 batteries or something?

Well you think a solar panel on the units front would do the job.

My tv remote has one. Never needs batteries just got to lay it face down.

Citylink only 80km/hr, by day. Isolated. Self regulates speed during peak hours. Multi-lane former “freeway” that transitions to the Calder Hwy 100km/hr (presumably because of the addition of shoulders).

Sunshine avenue, also 80km/hr, has bus stops, exit turns in both directions and a bicycle lane!

Make Citylink 100 24/7

These stupid speed limits Victoria has in place are the nanniest thing a nanny state has done.

These lower speed limits are popping up everywhere, as you probably know there are fairly long sections of the Princes Hwy out of Melbourne towards Drouin that are now 80 kph and various other main roads that now have 80 kph sections. The unintended (although obvious) consequence is that traffic is now being directed by Google onto minor roads as they now offer a shorter travel time.

It seems to me that a couple of serious accidents and a double fatality may have been caused by Google directing traffic onto an unofficial bypass and then back onto the main road and in the case of the highway two tourists died when they didn’t see the semi coming on the highway (at an intersection with very good sight distance).
