Yes. On thy is point, since when was the amount of faffing around for a menās haircut increased by eleventy?
Clip a section, faff with scissors, clip again, faff with a different set of clippers, faff some more, cut a little , back to first clippers.
A good genuine barber is increasingly hard to find.
Had a really good one I went to for a shave 2-3 times per week and was devastated when he retired years ago. Took me months to find another that did as good of a job but thankfully he is going strong and not looking to retire anytime soon

I love the old fashioned shave and when Iām out and about during the day Iāll squeeze one in if Iām in the area

I pay $40 cash as a regular. I think itās about $55 normally
Wowsers, 120 bucks a week for a shave or 3, good luck to you, but my disposable gilletes that i reuse until i draw blood are fine by me

Meh I used my mach 3 for over a year I reckon, shaving twice a week. I bought a special pad that I use after every shave to make the blades last for longer, not convinced it does anything though tbh.
We all have little things in our lives that we enjoy to relieve stress. Mrs Ace loves her weekly massages, beauty therapy, shopping etc, I love getting a shave, having a punt and a few vodkas

A proper shave is a nice little luxury.
Iāve done it a few times. Feels very, very nice afterwards.
Would recommend you try it at least once.
Iāve considered going to a straight razor, but it feels like more of a learning curve and more maintenance than Iām prepared to put in.

Got told you would need to practice on balloon, wasnt convinced I would have the patience.
Iāve done the hot shave once, I was pretty meh about it after being excited about my first time and it was quite anticlimactic. Choosing the person to do it was tough as is anytime I have multiple choices for something.

Exactly. My thing is getting my hair wash and blow dried every Friday afternoon after work. I havenāt been able to the last month as the project I am on is wild and I have really missed it. Itās the little luxuries that keep you sane sometimes that you notice when you donāt do them.
