What annoys you?

The saga thread.

People who use their phone whilst driving. Nearly got cleaned up by a 4wd who ignored the red light and drove through the pedestrian crossing at Shoppingtown.

Hope you took down the rego & reported it to the cops.

After you pulled over to make the call of course …

Spring onion.

Seriously, wtf is it good for?

If it’s in your recipe you need about one piece, then it’s impossible to fit it in the fridge without folding it into qtrs and shoving it up the back.

Is there even a recipe where you need more than one piece?

Look, it’s not even that expensive, but they should just have it at 10c a piece and only have one bunch per supermarket.

And it gives you reflux!

@THT

If you like canned tuna, spring onion goes great with it.

Gotta have it in mini quiches and creamy pasta.

Spring onions are great, dude.
Grow em yourself, use them in pasta, salads, with fish, in sandwiches.
If you have left over, chop 'em up, and store them in a container.

Or…go buy take away.

Ripped off.

Magnum and Cornetto ice creams to shrink
22 January 2016

Unilever, the multinational firm behind brands including Magnum and Cornetto, is to make all its ice creams aimed at adults smaller.
Ben & Jerry’s tubs and Feast ice creams are among those whose portion size will shrink, according to a report in trade journal The Grocer.
Unilever said the move was to help consumers “make healthier choices.”

From the spring, “single serving” portions will contain no more than 250 calories.
Unilever’s UK ice cream marketing director Noel Clarke said: “We have introduced this 250 calorie cap to help make it easier for our consumers to make informed and healthier choices when enjoying their favourite ice creams as part of a balanced lifestyle.

Some products, worth £5.4m in sales, will be dropped altogether, The Guardian reported.
Magnum Infinity Chocolate & Caramel, Magnum Infinity Chocolate, and Cornetto Choc ‘N’ Ball are some products that will melt away, the newspaper said.

Spring onion is great in everything. It is annoying to cram back into the fridge though.

If you cut the bulbs off at the bottom, and stick them in your vegie patch / garden somewhere, they’ll start growing again, and quickly. Then, you just go and snip off what you need when you need it, and you reduce wastage.

Pretty sure people who eat the ice-cream dont really care about the calories at the time.

Its worse with bags of chips. The air to chip ratio is B.S
