What annoys you?

BT
I would like the umps to move the player on the mark 5 metres. This ensures that a player with the free kick hard up against the boundary line can have a good go at the goal. It annoys me.
Umm BT may or may not be related to a dickweed the players doesn’t have to necessarily kick for goal and record yourself, listen to urself and make a proper analysis.
Muppet!

What we need to know is who makes the least from pokies…maybe they Pay out more!

Not necessarily

IT “helpdesk”
Log an issue. Computer not able to authenticate MS Office validation (managed through some network VPN thing)

Call back at 5:30 “are you at your computer”
Me “No, i’m driving”
IT “Ok, call me when you’re in front of your computer”
Call back this AM “in front of my computer now”
IT “OK I’ll just send you this email which has what you need”.

I don’t think they have any idea how e-mail works.

I did say ‘potentially’

Haha I thought that might have been deliberate.

School holidays and being a teacher with kids. One hand I love the break, but 2 kids under 4yrs old does my head in.

Need a second job.

Lots of childless couples who would be happy to take them off your hands.

Childless couples, huh? You mean white slavers, don’t you?

What an evil mind you have Mr Noonan.

I actually meant childless couples, who spend our tax dollars on IVF and other dramas to have a sprout. I thought about white slavers for my kids, but I am not that cruel to slavex traders.

You could always try organ harvesters instead.

You only need one kidney after all.

Lady next door donated one to her son, who’d lost the use of both kidneys, probably due to cellulitis.

NBN installer was at our place 2 days ago after a 2 week wait for an appointment, but unfortunately due to a situation with the house he couldn’t do the job. We had to make a new appointment. He’ll be back next week!

Maybe they just don’t like you

Lol. Jan-Jun 2020.

It could be worse. I had the following conversation with a telecommunications company that shall remain nameless. I apologise in advance (you’ll see what I did here) for the length. It is both hilarious and infuriating in equal measure.

Ron_G • 05:28 PM
Yep, that’s the month in advance bill. The bill we have contains both the plan fee when the new plan started + the month in advance. Postpaid services are normally billed one month ahead – this serves like a safety deposit for your service in this way the activities you will be using for the next month is covered. This means that the billing cycle you are on has been covered on this bill - you just paid it ahead. Next coming bills will resume back to normal one plan fee per month, noting that there is no excess or excluded activities. Month in advance will be refunded once you finished the contract or change the plan.

You • 05:28 PM
NO post paid is exactly that paid after usage, not before otherwise it is prepaid
You • 05:29 PM
That bill was for the months usage from 03/02 to 02/03
Ron_G • 05:29 PM
Yep, just like renting an apartment or electric bill, you pay them month in advance, yes?
Ron_G • 05:29 PM
The first bill is the month in advance.
Ron_G • 05:30 PM
It is common to Australian Postpaid bills.
You • 05:30 PM
That bill was paid at the end of the first month, definitely no in advance
Ron_G • 05:32 PM
Sorry to keep you waiting, I’ll be right back with you.
You • 05:33 PM
I have only had the account two months, it is paid at the end of the month yet you want payment for the third month that has only been active six days
Ron_G • 05:33 PM
All postpaid services are billed month in advance.
You • 05:34 PM
I’m sorry but I think you need to check what the definition of post paid is.
You • 05:34 PM
If I pay a bill a month in advance then I am pre paying not post paying
Ron_G • 05:35 PM
Sure, I can. But please also check how postpaid services works.
You • 05:35 PM
I’m sorry Ron, If you don’t understand that basic concept I need to talk to someone who does.
Ron_G • 05:36 PM
No worries. May I please know what you do not still understand about month in advance bill?
You • 05:37 PM
This is not a pre paid account, That means you don’t pay in advance. What is so hard to understand about this. You pay at the END of the month i.i. after the month
Ron_G • 05:38 PM
Mate, the month in advance is a safety deposit. So in case you missed a payment, your service ill not be barred immediately since you had a month in advance payment.
You • 05:38 PM
I have already paid the account for the first month i.e. the 73.30 you are now trying to charge me for
again.
Ron_G • 05:39 PM
You have not made a payment for $73.30 yet.
You • 05:39 PM
That was not what I was told when purchasing the account
Ron_G • 05:39 PM
Your only payment was 02/03/2018 for $261.99.
You • 05:39 PM
Which was for the previous month of the account
Ron_G • 05:39 PM
$261.99 was the month in advance bill.
Ron_G • 05:39 PM
The $73.30 was for the usages from 03/02 - 02/03
You • 05:40 PM
If I was supposed to pay that amount at the start of the second month, why did it take ******* 36 days to tell me the account was overdue? Is that normal business practice
Ron_G • 05:42 PM
Sorry to keep you waiting, I’ll be right back with you.
Ron_G • 05:42 PM
That $73.30 bill was issued last 04/03/2018 and due after 14 days which was only last 19/03/2018.
Then another bill was issued 03/04/2018 due on 18/04/2018.
You • 05:43 PM
So in 2.5 months on a post paid account I am supposed to have fully paid 3 months
You • 05:44 PM
To say that your account keeping practices are not good business practice is an understatement
Ron_G • 05:44 PM
One month in advance payment, and the other was for the usages from each months.
You • 05:45 PM
I was not told that I would be paying a month in advance. I was told It was post paid. I am starting to be very annoyed.
Ron_G • 05:47 PM
I am so sorry that you feel that way.
Ron_G • 05:47 PM
It is just it is how contracts work.
You • 05:47 PM
Put simply, I don’t believe you are qualified to provide advice to customers on ******* billing practices
when you clearly do not understand the difference between a post and pre paid account.
Ron_G • 05:47 PM
You pay month in advance, just like electric and apartment bills.
You • 05:49 PM
I have never in over 24 years of home ownership ever paid an electricity bill for electricity I am yet to
use.
Ron_G • 05:49 PM
Yep, you can ask them and they will tell you that it is paid in advance.
You • 05:51 PM
So when they come and read the meter to check your power consumption, the bill you receive doesn’t reflect that consumption even though it explicitly tells you exactly that? I’m sorry, I am done with this conversation
Ron_G • 05:52 PM
What I am saying is that you had a month in advance payment. In case you missed to pay the bill, your service will not yet be barred immediately since you have a monthly safety deposit.
You • 05:54 PM
So I am on a prepaid account, even though I was told it was post paid. Good to know that ******* lie to their cutomers.
Ron_G • 05:54 PM
You have a contract so you are on Postpaid service,
Ron_G • 05:59 PM
I haven’t heard from you in a while, would you still like to continue our chat?
You • 05:59 PM
yes
Ron_G • 05:59 PM
Sure
Ron_G • 06:01 PM
Anything else?
You • 06:03 PM
I am currently checking the ******* agreement on this plan and it explicitly says it is a post paid plan. Look up post paid and every reference is to being billed after use, not before. T ask for a payment in advance for a post paid plan is fraud.
Ron_G • 06:05 PM
Sorry to keep you waiting, I’ll be right back with you.
Ron_G • 06:05 PM
Nope, not at all.
Ron_G • 06:05 PM
The month in advance has been common to all the Postpaid services.
