Francis emergency seems odd. Indicates he is fit.
If he finished last year as a forward, trained pre season as a forward but can’t make the 22 as a forward considering our injuries, his future doesn’t look great.
Hope he can work his way in and play some good footy.
Langford or Cox would prob have more impact

Look at Melbourne’s there is hardly a difference in talent.

Surely Ham does not line up in the forward line.
No mullet either.
So we have basically 2 forwards over 190cm, comprised of a relief ruck and a debutant.
Crumbers look even grimmer.

We’ve obviously avoided the temptation to pick players we need (Stringer, Francis) who haven’t had much recent high intensity training & practice matches and instead have gone for 22 fully fit players.
If we control the midfield, and we are certainly capable based on talent, then we can win.
