For a loooong time I did exactly that. Then I figured out that a can was exactly the right height for cd shelves, and a 600ml bottle was a great height for dvds and books. But now I have a toddler I don’t think I should be doing that sort of thing anymore.
Thanks for the help people! I guess I will have to do something myself. I just think it’s really weird that there seems to be no-one who will sell 18cm deep book cases. Do most people not care about not seeing the spine of their books whne they’re put away…?
