We get rid of Mankura, Voss etc and some on here say they were mistakes.
All we can do is keep on trying, improving, working with what we have, selecting the best available at that moment.

I saw something posted by a feminist on social media … it was along the lines of men in general preach about how they aren’t designed for monogamy and that cos you know one person thing, but they will sit there and go through the absolute highs and very low lows with a a ■■■■■■■ sporting team that generally is passsed on to them in childhood by a parent.
any essendon parent should be telling their kids to pick whatever damn team they want, to avoid this ■■■■ show of a feeling.
Jones will be gifted at least 10 games this year even if he doesn’t deserve it - bookmark it.

Jones was terrible today and Cox just fades in and out ……he loses alot of 1:1 and is hardly accountable

My thoughts on today;
Backline looked too slow. Players were constantly dump kicking the ball out to no one. Reid was solid defensively but offered nothing offensively, same with McKay. Question is, are we too tall when you add Rids into that backline?
Our KPF’s are 2MP or bust. Langford is solid, but not a KPF. Jones and Weid were both useless up forward. Quality of delivery didn’t help.
Mids weren’t clean, fumbled a lot and missed kicks.
Our gameplan hasn’t developed in 20 years. It looks the same. Bomb it long to a pack and defensively unable to stop transition.
I have nothing positive to say.

The result that the coaches would’ve wanted to see today, was no injuries. Wins in the preseason don’t give you 4 points. Without knowing what our goals were for this game, it’s pretty hard to know if we should be disappointed or not.
