GWS were already a decent side. The myth is that they (in 2023) and Collingwood (in 2022) turned it around quickly. Both of these sides have been winning finals for years.

Our recruitment has been gradually improving. We have gone from recruiting short mids who can’t hit a target, to taller mids who can’t hit a target.

Get what you’re saying but Stringer misses one he normally makes. Menzie has his goal blocked by Langers lol. We were 2-5 but should of been 4-3 at least.

We did start the year pretty well though. I’d take a repeat of our first half of the year.
Backline will be i have no doubt if all healthy.
McKay, Ridley, Redman, Martin, Reid and McGrath is a good back 6 to build on.

Imagine losing your last 2 games by 200 points collectively then fronting up to your first competitive hit out since and losing by another 10 goals.
This list needs to finish fkn last for the next 5 years and have our current recruiting team marched out immediately along with most of this tainted list.
What I cant fkn understand is how teams still let us piece together junk wins during the course of a season to prevent us from finishing bottom 3.
