My wooooord. That’s a helluva fine looking team.
And the best thing is that I’M going to Sydney to watch them and YOU’RE not*.

Since when were named teams the line up on gameday?
If this is what happens when there is no saga to talk about, I say bring it back.

Dempsey is making himself one of the most dispensable players in the team.
Love it…Hirdy’s already delegating jobs to Sheeds.
" Hey Sheeds, can you do the team for me this week?"
" WTF is this Sheeds? It’s not three qtr time of the '84 GF"
McVeigh out and Malceski gone, the Sydney half back line is not as good as it was last year.
Keiran Jack and Kurt Tippett injured/underdone.
Swans not at full 2014 strength.
Ashby unlucky - who's a guy gotta blow around here?A coach who ignores foot skills?
Seriously, I’ve liked the look of Ashby since we drafted him and he had a good pre-season. But unless he is replacing an injured Bags and told to just play lock down defence he will be attempting to take a HBF spot, and he still doesn’t have kicking consistent enough for that. Actually apart from intercept marking and then playing on he doesn’t have much of an attacking side and probably needs to work on that before he could claim to be a genuine threat at AFL level (and hence overtake others).
Gwilt unlucky, Melkie must have some amazing photos.
He’s clearly going to be the tagger until Hocking’s back.
Looking at the Sydney team has at last told me what the kid who played Anakin Skywalker did with his life after filming The Phantom Menace.
I’m happy enough with that.
No Demsey and Edwards?
Good. Exciting. Interested to see what Melk brings. Colyer as sub would be a bit disappointing
Both Hurley & Carlisle may be needed to play in the backline with the size of Sydney’s forwardline.
Franklin, Tippett, Reid & Goodes.
I’m sure Baguley or Hibberd could take on Goodes, but could beat them overhead.
Fletcher would take Reid.
Hooker to Franklin
Carlisle or Hurley to Tippett
Giles must be ■■■■■■! Left one club sick of being a fringe player to not even be in the 25 at another.
GLEE-son!!!
That boys gonna be a champion of the game soon enough.
F*#K Goodes.
There, I sad it…l got in early for his first stage dive.
Call me racist if you like, bloke is a “pure” cockwomble.
Man that’s a slow side and get Hurley out of the FAR KIN forward line!
nah just kiddingCarlisle BCK and Hurls FWD
let the debate begin
Common sense prevails , not that hurley is a forward either but I’d rather a dominating Carlisle down back than wasting away up forward. Sure swap them from time to time but they should remain in those spots at least 70 % of the game.
My worry in this game is buddy. We can contain everyone else but him and a falling over goodes.
Btw what is the problem with Dempsey ?
