Who will our next coach be? (Part 1)

I know people want to interpret Barham “experienced coach” might mean “experience assistant coach” also but Truck was an experienced assistant from a successful side in Richmond. So how does he sell it to be different to Truck?

and also completed a post graduate course at INSEAD in France.

That’s…quite a bizarre list.

They are plenty examples where second time coaches worked and failed. same for first time coaches. Don’t underestimate the power in getting a good the team in your football department around you…if they are all on the same page along with the players it goes along way to getting the players right

Yep. He’s probably my pick of the bunch so far, provided we can also lure Choco to provide more of that senior experience & player development support given our list demo.

Thanks . I thought the INSEAD course was the MBA, what he did when he was banished in 2014.

Man of letters

People are actually suggesting Solly as coach? Why?!?!?! Where is the evidence that he is even a semi decent coach

@Dasher made some great points about Pyke. I hope we interview him

Enough of the ex essendon players being coach or assitants. We need a complete clean break from the past

IMO this is the most important thing. If we get Yze, give him the best start possible. Having Choco as his Senior Assistant/Mentor would be so good for him.

I want don Pyke.

I reckon the new stand rule really helps his style.

Complete opposite for Ross and Buckley

Power stand?

Yup. I wonder what their relationship is like with Mahoney.

Haha. I only spoke to one of my brothers this morning and one of his bosses is on GWS’s version of a coterie and said that Yze would be announced Wednesday. Something happened fairly quickly

Now there is a good idea!

What’s all this about Choco going loopey ?

He’s always been like that. He’s crazy, challenging, enthusiastic and a fantastic teacher that inspires his players and tries different things when the satus quo isn’t working.

He is a tremendous candidate for coach and would sort out our soft ■■■■■ quick smart.
