I’m concerned about the loss of young Bomber supporters due to our past 20 years of ignominy, but I’ve thought of a solution.
Looking outside the circle and appealing to our targeted audience, I’d like to put forward Jeff Fatt, the previous purple Wiggle now retired. You know, the one that always fell asleep… Same modus operandi as our last two coaches.

Yes that’s right. His albanian birth name is what I mentioned. When I first heard it as a late teen in Werribee when Adem moved in across the street from my then GF, I thought it was very cool.
Adem was such a great footballer. Hope he gets his chance as a
Senior coach whether it’s with us or not. Will be able great to see the diversity as well as there’s not too many people of southern Mediterranean/Slavic origin that get senior roles in the AFL, outside of a notable few.

Most of you antiHird supporters are just as bad as the media.
You all base your opinions on lies from the past, “Hird is the antichrist ruining the AFL”, “Hirdy can shove it up himself” etc.
Living in the past, move on. If Essendon don’t do due diligence by considering Hird we are cactus.

Whoever the new coach is, be ■■■■■■■ clear about what you want, defence first (I wouldn’t mind if we were boring as ■■■■ to watch next season, just stop the coast to coast goals against, seeing the opposition move the ball with ease through our “zones” and be tough in the contest), and if any of these ■■■■■■ don’t buy in a) don’t play them and b) delist or trade the ■■■■■!
