Winderlich - looked a bit rusty early but was one of our better players in the second half.
O’Brien - accumulated plenty of disposals as usual. had a good game.
Ashby - didn’t seem to have a huge game but looked classy when he got it.
Pears - took quite a few marks up forward but didn’t manage to convert.
Edwards - electric. get him in.
J. Merrett - didn’t play.
Browne - looked a bit tired after his BOG performance last week but still contributed well.
Giles - dominant.
K. Langford - as we know he needs to put on a few kg but I was impressed with his courage and ability to win one on ones. won’t have lost any fans on today’s performance.
Laverde - best game I’ve seen him play by far. had a real presence out there and for the first time looked like a genuine, mature AFL footballer - not just a bit player.
Dalgleish - how does this guy manage to run at 100km/h without looking like he’s out of 2nd gear? should be pushing for senior selection again soon.
Hams - didn’t play
Steinberg - solid as always. didn’t have a lot to do down back but barely lost a contest.
Aylett - good game but didn’t star. it’s possible he may have had more of it than i noticed.
McKernan - see Giles
McKenna - was a real spark up forward. beat his opponent on multiple occasions. already better than Quinn. needs a bit more time to learn the game but might just be the small forward we’re looking for.
Sadly, Hardingham did what looked like a serious shoulder injury (if only he’d been selected to play in the seniors this week like we’ve been demanding!)
Tippa was fantastic. Great core strength. Untackleable and consistently brings down bigger players. Quite good overhead for his size. Very reliable kick. Big crowd favorite.
Geelong - very ordinary.
If tippa isn't on the senior list next year then this club is genuinely fked and couldn't draft a decent players ■■■■■■■.Yep Tippa seemed to have the game on a string at times class act for sureReal thrill as a lifelong bombers supporter to sit with your mates and family in the outer sinking a couple and seeing the red&black in the vfl and afl on a satdee arvo who would have thought of that before??? lol

Was the speed of Irish, Edwards, The Lang & Lav all in the forward line together noticeable. Did it cause opposition headaches

I watched the game against Sandringham and saw the second half today, you can tell Tippa has talent but he doesn’t seem to be progressing. Maybe he did something special in the first half which I missed.
Still, He is still a long way from AFL standard.
