I’ll nominate ‘The Singing Detective’ by Dennis Potter. I taped it at the time (still got the VHS!) and loved it so much I also bought the book and the soundtrack (on vinyl).

Keep seeing Band of Brothers.

I know not many folk saw it, but I reckon Generation Kill beats it hands down.

There really is just soooooo many shows.

It must be a fking enormous figure if you added up every TV series that’s ever screened World wide.

I was recently reading an interview with Mr. Gambon where he confesses that he tried to chat her up, but she wasn’t having any of it. What a stunner she was … went on to marry Val Kilmer.

Gambon also mentioned that he was thrilled at the need for so many rehearsals of the greasing scene!

Another excellent show was the very funny Aussie comedy of the late 80s called ‘The Fast Lane’ and it would be remiss of me not to mention John Clarke/Brian Dawe’s ‘The Games’.
