Going to be fun viewing seeing Brad blow up when we concede our first c2c goal and then marching down the stairs at qrt time and giving the group a rev up

from what i’ve seen of saad at fark carlton he has had some absolute howler games and is terrible in clutch ones

You mean like in 2021 when we were saying how good is McMerrish, McMerrish is doing so well … and then McGrath did his knee?

Or 2020 when I think ignoring the game he got injured he averaged the highest B&F votes per game at EFC?

The really weird thing is he’s hardly played midfield since doing that knee, yet on Blitz has gone from McMerrish to ā€œcan’t midfieldā€.

Certainly easy to see how many of you have NFI. Ants on the money as usual.

We have so many mids that can only mid. This bloke has a thing called versatility and can do a thing called defend. Its the only reason he is the one out of the midfeild at the moment. His a very good player.

I must’ve missed our team that has won a final since tiesto dj’d the olympics.

Sounds like our team is incredible and we can afford to keep elite midfielders out of the starting rotation.

He is the epitome of average.

Not at all we have a lot of one way runners in there with only one string to there bow. Players who half hartedly look like they will defend but just go through the motions.

You dont see that hard defensive running on the stats sheets so i guess it must not be important hey.

I dont give fark about a 30+ dispoal game when you have done zero defensively

McGrath lost his spot in the midfield because another small mid in Darcy Parish became a Brownlow contender in 2021. Together with Merrett they are just too small as a group. It’s unfortunate for Andy.

In hindsight it would have been nice to trade up to get Oliver instead of Parish, or chosen Taranto instead of McGrath. But that’s hindsight.
