#1 Andy McGrath - from April 2022

Funnily the issues mostly happen when we get pinned on the wing or pocket - from the ground there were a number of times where basically the whole team were stood waiting, flat-footed. Not really conducive to good effective disposal and trying to make things happen. But as someone else said I do much prefer the ball with Archie.

McGrath and Shiel should never be the last kick inside F50 unless it’s someone wide open

Quick handball might get tackled, or quick snap over my shoulder with composure might get tackled

He slipped in the defensive goal square.
He doesn’t hb it thru, it’s HTB.

Defenders always do right?

A couple of goals, yeah. But again, it gets magnified.

Roberts had a great game but conceded a few goals too. It happens.

Roberts is a kid second season and surpassed him already…that’s where McGrath is at

That’s a reflection on Roberts. He is outstanding.

Again, McGrath is fine. Some of the pile on going beyond that is ridiculous.

Let’s wait for a proper challenger, Anzac Day…

Agree. He is scared of body contact, and avoids contact with short steps.

Scared of shadows, it’s really bad…

Put Roberts as VC then, at least he put his body on the line

McGrath absolutely smashed Bobby Hill in '23, and took the honours last year as well.

I get it, but leadership can look different sometimes.

There maybe failings, but there can be other strengths that are not as visible through a television screen.

Yeah nah

Lol let’s wait…

Yeah not much he could had done there thought he was very stiff

One thing I always know is our vision is limited and external. Applies to a lot of things.

He slipped because of pressure lol

We don’t have to wait.
Those events already happened.

I don’t know what will happen in 2 weeks.
Andy is not in form.
He does have a good record against Hill though.

The rules states if you 9 meters away from the goal line under pressure you can rush it through

Not quite.

There is also the application of prior opportunity to that rule.

If you had the chance to dispose of the ball, you don’t and you then rush a behind it’s a free kick.
