The bloke slipped over

It’s a fact that Andy has ■■■■ on some of the best small fwds in the game

He won’t find form it’s as good as he gets, not made for AFL which is ok…as a club we need to move on from him, sooner we do the better off the rebuild will be.

Which doesn’t mean anything, if you slip over and get tackled it’s still holding the ball if you had prior.

Same applies to rushed behinds.

He had prior

Doesn’t matter if he did he was under pressure near the goal line

It absolutely does matter.

It equates to prior because the pressure came after he slipped

It was the right call, just unfortunate.

Well i think he was unfairly pinged iv’e seen worse let through that didn’t get cited

Not made for AFL ?
You need a Bovril.

He is AFL quality and would play for every other team.
ATM, he is shockingly out of form.
It will turn, have faith.

I don’t get the love for McGrath by some one here - he is a woeful footballer, he is an athlete that has the capability to beat a small forward one on one, and that is the ONLY reason why he should be in the team.

He got the ball 11 times in the first quarter with 0 impact. He still kicks those dumb fluffy snap kicks when he is under pressure. He is just a horrible footballer.

The fact that he thinks he is too good to be playing as a lockdown defender is laughable. He should ONLY be in the team to do that. i NEVER want to see him get over 15 possessions ever again.

Fact?

This random, completely anonymous rumour you posted is now a fact? Pretty tenuous (that’s putting it lightly)

He has shown a few times a willingness to play as a lockdown defender, so the actual evidence suggests otherwise.

I don’t think there is much love for him, just that some don’t actively hate him.

Fake rumours are always true to those that want them to be.

Weird hate boner

He’s an elite stopper who also runs and creates out of defense. Has exceptional hands at ground level and is an elite handballer. Field kicking is usually reliable.

Has a habit of dump kicking over his shoulder under pressure that he should get rid of. Prone to the occasional turnover.

You must have missed the 15 years before Andy when small forwards would circle the Essendon games on the fixture and make a mockery of our small defenders.

would he make the side over archie roberts?

MASS???

Maybe. Maybe not.

Probably won’t be an issue because we need multiple small defenders. Mass plays a different position, and for a different club.

Just hates pressure and body contact. Had a couple of decent moments when he was focusing solely on a shut down role, but that’s his limit.

No poise, just lets himself down with disposal time and time again.

No, he said because he was such a high pick, he internally felt the pressure that he needed to be a top line midfielder.

Had nothing to do with him talking to the club.
