His first qtr was terrible. Second wasnât much better, played a really good second half

He just doesnât give enough fâs. Donât like players who decide they want to play properly for a couple of quarters. At his age and leadership level, it should be a âbare minimumâ in giving the four quarter efforts to defend for your team.

good game from him last night. Still too many dumb hack kicks. But he competed as well as ive seen him compete, particularly in the one on ones with Cripps
I thought his kicking also improved in the second half. Mostly because he was using his burst running to get away from contests and no longer needed to rush.
Sure, the kicks werenât perfect, but he was picking good options instead of just yeeting the ball as far away as he could.

Played well, good on him. Itâs like the rest of the team played like he usually does. Panic dump kicks.
When the rest of the team were looking for sideways options, he was taking the game on.
Thought he was the one to turn it for us in the third.

Yep, after that effort in the first quarter his second half saved him from an absolute bake.
The Ridley kick in short to Pando who blindly handballed back to Rids who scuffed the kick straight to the eagles player who kicked a goal just about ended me. That made it 26 points and thankfully Perkins kicked two in a minute to bring us back.
