#1 Andy McGrath - from April 2022

To be fair I’ll need to watch the replay at home. The mistakes really stood out at the ground but will have a watch throughout the week.

A good game, but with a few errors.

Actually having a decent season.

Got a ton of it.

Good easily outweighed the bad.

I thought he was legit good today

He managed to negate Heeney in marking contests. That’s a fair effort given size difference and Heeney’s noted overhead ability.

Awesome first half…just wished he had some more composure in the second and not blindly bomb it when we needed to shift gears. That first half was elite though

They all ■■■■■■■ handball like idiots in a phone booth. Otherwise was excellent.

I haven’t seen the whole game but he seemed to really have a desire to take the game on today, he hasn’t played like that in ages.

PANDO

Was at the game, Jay Leno played very well today. Deserves credit

What’s the proper use of the Pando name. Do we use it as an alter ego when he plays well? Plays poorly? Or is there a little bit of Pando in there all the time?

He did the same to turn the WC game in the third quarter.

His turnovers stand out when he is one of the only few players looking to take the game on, but he really is having a good year.

There’s a little Pando in there at all times.

BoG and people still can’t rate him. Oh and the “just does it every 6-8 weeks”…towelled up Bobby Hill (you know the Norm Smith winner) 2 games ago, was very good against WCE, locked down Rioli, good against Dees etc.

That might have been a better game than either Adam Saad or McKenna ever played for us in a similar role. He certainly played the most attacking game I have ever seen since he became a “back pocket”

Everyone loved McGrath after his first year. Seemed to go backwards from there. He has displayed patched over the years that make you think he’s going to turn into a star, but then goes on a panic streak where he makes poor decisions and turns the ball over. Like Essendon, he lacks consistency, which is why I find it crazy that he’s in our leadership group.
