Is there a more uninspiring poorly skilled captain? I’ll wait.

Shouldn’t be playing, let jaw mend.

I could.

He isn’t a captain’s ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– . Never was and never will be. I’m sure he’s great with the game prep and off field stuff though.

I want a captain that I love - McGrath is a vanilla good ordinary footballer. How is he an AFL captain?

And that is absolutely true. Unfortunately our club and our playing list is that farked up that there is probably only one alternative right now in Sam Durham. He mightn’t be perfect himself but he at least inspires and plays the game the right way.

I’d pull the trigger on it anyway.

Chat GPT can you add some 2026 refrences to my this is not what we stand for speech.

Namaste.

That’s probably why they want to bring in Lachie Neale. Bring in an external captain. One who knows what he is doing (on the field)

End of year replace him as captain. 2027 trade him for access to one of Tassies picks or mini draft picks.

Still think his best position would be on the wing if we weren’t obsessed with playing slow tall’s there. Would suit all his strengths; athleticism, pace and endurance

Andy isn’t an endurance runner. He’s a poor transition runner

His kicking would be an issue! They simply don’t have enough elevation.

He’s had a below average season. Think his biggest issue is that he goes out of his comfort zone to make thing happens which leads to mistakes. A disappointing season.

His bigger issue is that he’s fkg ā– ā– ā– ā–

I’d say that’s more of a mental issue and of course symptomatic of our cultural issues re defence. There’s never been any indicators out of the club re endurance/fitness issues, he’s always been highly regarded for his professionalism and preparation

At least you could rely on him to be genuinely brave and tough each and every week. He was also a very good organiser of his team’s full ground team defence.

I’m not sure what Andy is bringing to the table on game day. He’s probably very good during the week.

I reckon baguley was a more valuable player than mcgrath
