No order, and a couple of couldn’t-decide-which-album (yeah I know).

Oils - 10,9,8 /Blue Sky Mining
INXS - kick
Weddings parties anything - Riveresque (or any of about 4 others)
Hoodoos - Stoneage Romeos
Chris Wilson - Live at the Continental
Go Betweens - 16 Lovers Lane
Paul Kelly -Gossip/Post
Crowded House - Woodface
Hunters - Human Frailty
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Boatmans call

Wanted to work in The Teskey Brothers, The Cruel Sea, AC/DC, Cold Chisel, Sunnyboys, Bee Gees etc. Does Morning of the Earth count- not sure if it’s all Australian (has the world’s simplest song for Ukelele ā€˜Simple Ben’ (C,F repeat).

Why haven’t you ever spun in DJ King?

I still haven’t posted mine, in here.
It’s very difficult.

10-1 is a lock for number one…

Crowded House is an Australian band.

Gossip and Eternal Nightcap are in there.
And then there’s the INXS dilemma…which of those big three…

Tell you what…I haven’t mentioned it before, and I know it’s daggy as hell, but I feel like the Sweet and Sour OS probably deserves a place.

Best is easier than favourite.

Edit: lol…haven’t even mentioned Back In Black…
Not that anyone else has recently…

You get to hang a lot of sh*t on people, particularly Swoodley.

Epic banter and tunes, right up your alley.

First one I thought of, but man, this thread is a nightmare.

When / if I complete my list, one thing is certain, every entry will be from a narrow period either side of that album’s release.

Imprinting is a thing.

Also, Toby Cresswell and Craig Mathieson should be strung up by the balls.

In no particular order

Crowded house - woodface
Powderfinger - odyssey number 5
Cold chisel - Circus Animals
Something for Kate - Echolalia
You am I - Hourly Daily
Australian Crawl - Sons of Beaches
Icehouse - Man of colours
Troy Cassar Daley - Long way home
Jimmy Barnes - barnstorming
Midnight oil - blue sky mining

Feel like…
Business As Usual and Two Minute Warning…
Sad But True…

sigh
Honey Steel’s Gold…

Might sneak Phalanx in.
Not a fan of best-ofs or…out of time live albums, but Phalanx isn’t out of time.

Sweet and Sour soundtrack…

I love the album. The whole album. Even the two ā€˜skits.’
Okay, tell a lie, Singing In The Shower sucks.
Both on this and the contemporaneous release by I assume the writers.
Rubbish song.

I love the series.
I love the idea of the series and the idea of the album.

Also…I love that literally everyone (ie: the gen pub) assumed Sharon O’Neil sang Sweet and Sour anonymously because of breaking her contract.
And…sorry…I love that I one day listened to that song and said…’That is absolutely Deborah Conway’, and went to the wiki to find that officially it was still secretly Sharon O’Neil singing it…and made probably my only contribution to an official record ever.

Edit: or, how about The Triffids years later saying, ā€˜screw it, that’s a damn good song we gave them, we’re putting it on our album.’

Or that Deborah Conway never sang those songs live even as a solo artist.

Or that Ian Moss…way before he started his solo career and not long after the break-up of Chisel…did It’s A Game for the album, but didn’t sing the track that was on the tv show, and neither did the guy who was playing the character, David Reyne.

Screw you guys.
It’s an amazing album.
