Has been great all season. I doubted him but he has really turned himself into a good player. Would be an excellent one if he could just cut down the 1-2 silly frees against per game.
See the gather, hip and shoulder, rebound from their goal square?
Very solid player. Good to see huge improvement in players over the years and Mark is definitely one who's learnt how to play his posi well.
Love him.
I think the reason he is so good with any opposition sledging is because, and this is just me thinking out loud, he has already recieved more than his fair share due to his birth mark. Playing any type of sport let alone competitive means you run into your fair share of Cockwombles who pick on that sort of crap. Serious sign of maturity to react to that in the right way and put the team first by continuing to play the man and not let his anger take the better of him.
Becoming a great player down back... Solid and dependable. That small back that we have yearned for since the day of MJ. In relation to the sledging I have noticed that it happens most weeks. Is an aggressive little bugger, plus he has the unsightly mark around his mouth which I am sure prompts some interesting commentary from the opposition.
Hes really well composed, that gws kid tried to give it to him and bags just laughed it off. Shows a lot about his character!
Sums him up. Doesn't panic and is very reliable to get us out of trouble, and has good skills. He's slotted in very nicely to be key part of our best 22.
Elite running style, watch and learn Dane Swan
He is our version of Steven Morris but about 100 times better.

This.
If there is a better back pocket in the league, it wouldn't be by much.
Remember Slatts?
twice devon smith recieved the ball and realised bags was about to drill him in a crunching tackle. twice he dropped the ball deliberately just before bags arrived, drew the free and got up chirping. would't like seeing that if he played for us and the ump should have let em go i thought
Love this bloke, tough bugger. Can play too.
Remember Slatts?
I'm with knights - Slatts was a gun.

… wasn't up to the calibre of Bags.
Bags is the next Hibberd
Fark me I have eaten some humble pie in regards to this bloke
Good, tough, honest and very underrated
Can understand why Bomber is a fa of him
Bags is the next Hibberd
Baguley is 3 years older than Hibberd.
has very quick clean hands in traffic and is always reading play and looking for the next effort he can make to help us get the ball out of defence.Sums him up. Getting on the bandwagon. Gee this guy has gone up a level, and I must admit going into his third year I thought he might struggle to hold his place with Gleeson's and Ashby's coming through.
Proved me wrong big time. Averaging close to 20 touches a game whilst playing a shut down role, and is very dependable and uses the footy well.
Super get by the recruiting staff.
Best small back pocket player we have had since the last one. :P
