I saw 541 new posts and thought he had died. Just got off the plane and was like WTF, what happened?
This pelican needs to get some new sauces and stop making stuff up.
My sauces have been right on the money on this issue. From the start. As usual.
Embarrassing stuff even by AFL standards.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Orazio and the club signed that deal knowing that it gets him to free agency and that should the club wish to trade him instead (to get max compensation) they can have the next two seasons to take the best deal.
It’s a non story but it’s also probably true. The club will listen to offers this year but they’d have to be really good ones and they’ll listen more closely next year.
Obviously they’ll weigh the offers up against another couple of years of him playing for us.
As for the reporting and headlines/push notifications - deliberately vague crap like that helps no one, especially the reporter - hard to know how involved he is with that part of it though. The article was just recycling something anyone who’s followed Orazio’s career could have told you.
Guy from Big Brother. Former Crows player. Now does minor media gigs!
The pelican who wrote this spent the first bit of his interview on SEN ragging out other journalists (esp whoever it was that doorstopped Fantasia).
The parasites are turning on each other - it’s glorious to watch/listen to. Their hubris knows no bounds…
See what I mean, impossible to find anyone who is actually famous in fact.
I drove throught there on Saturday. First time l had seen the place since Womadelaide in 1993. It looked like the place hadn’t changed at all, in the interval.
As far as Adelaide is concerned it is 1993
Does anyone actually believe that raz was gonna say anything other than ‘yeah i’ll stay i signed last year’?
I agree with that point. We have produced many famous people but their career often sees them migrate to the larger cities. Plenty of former sports stars move back here when their career is done.
The Hilltop Hoods lads still live here and I run into a couple of the lads every now and then.
Funny thing is my Nan lived about 2 streets over from the Bradman’s and as kids we would stay there during school holidays and on our daily walks we would stop by and have a good chat to Sir Donald and Lady Jessie. At the time I don’t think we appreciated just how much of a legend he was and thought of them more as friendly neighbours. I just wished I’d got a piece of memorabilia signed or kept some of the birthday and Christmas cards he gave my Nan.

I hope so. I liked 1993…
Feel for Raz, even if he wanted to leave it shouldn’t be mainstream news in July.
I drove through the CBD almost every day and the transformation has been amazing in the last 5-10 years. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but for us it’s perfect ATM

I expected Raz to tell the EFC media dude to get fkd and then go produce a Hirdy\Mr.Bean style cavalcade salute which was then transmitted in a video to the Members First email list.
Go back to Adelaide at Christmas/New Year every year for a couple of weeks each time.
Those saying it hasn’t changed are kidding themselves.
Great place / especially like Glenelg.
Don’t get me wrong I love RAZ but if we could get something decent for him end of this year in return, we may as well do it while we have levage

I’d be concerned if:
a) the article had any quotes from after 1485
b) the author of said article didn’t ■■■■ himself on radio 3 hours after it came out saying that we all interpreted it wrong
It’s a mess
Draper + Raz = Coniglio
We need a BOOO RAMPE thread✊
