No he moved back to the US like a decade ago at least - yes it was a marriage break up.
He did write a song about Adelaide though; in which the best line is “see the bogans at the motor race”

I got about 6 old music tape recordings of Bradman matches from the op shop, and recorded over them with songs from the radio…lol.
You must have been lucky to have a chat with the great man.
When your a kid, unless its something your interested in you can miss things.

If a first rounder was on offer you’d be silly not to entertain it. Could be a superstar but could just as easily fizzle into mediocre with his soft tissue injury history.

Actually very few move back after seeing the modern world.
Hilltop Hoods did some OK music, but famous ? And Bradman was not a South Australian, like Sir Doug Nicholls, fate just dealt both a poor hand and they both most the most of their time there, and both travelled a great deal to stay sane.

This is just taking the ■■■■.
Adelaide International Airport ( ADL ) is just over 4 miles from the city centre and it’s really quite easy to get to town from the airport. You can grab a taxi - it costs about $25.00 and the journey takes about 15 minutes. There is a $2.00 surcharge for passengers using taxis to exit the airport.

Apparently his gambling debts in Brisbane are substantial amounts of $$$$$ big $$$$. Got told this over 1 month ago by a media mate where Beams issues are well known. Its not his only issue !

Each to their own. I owe a lot to Adelaide as I would probably not be in the financial position I find myself now if I had lived in another big city. Housing is very affordable and very nice and with a half decent income you can live a very comfortable life and this allows us to travel so much 
Plenty of great restaurants and still relatively easy to get around town so it suits us just fine at the moment.

$AUD 4.27 light rail train from downtown Seattle to airport. 30 min. Paid for it in dimes - you accumulate them but never get a real chance to use them.
As for Adelaide airport, I give a 9/10 for how they’ve designed the large forecourt area to separate the terminus from the taxi / car drop off area and having it well ser back. Means you can exit/enter with ease minus the chaos of negotiating cars/taxis and throngs of confused/slow moving people.
The Melbourne set up is a massive zoo.
And Adelaide has a public bus from the airport to the city. I used it last time I was there and it worked well.
And is the Orazio thread becoming a not traveling well thread a metaphor?
