#13 Orazio Fantasia - his surname is pronounced “injured”

Modern football trades are basically “pre-agency”. Raz has done the right thing by us and extended his contract until he becomes a FA to give us a solid negotiating platform.

Personally I hope he sticks around, because I love watching him play. But I’m confident if he does move on he’s going to ensure we get fair compensation.

I could be wrong. Second hand info.

Only so they can earn enough money to eventually get away from there.

It’s kinda like working in the mines.

My cousin used to live in Dubbo, his dad was a minister at one of the churches. One day a young lady walked down main street stark naked, raving and acting weird. When the police and my uncle caught up with her she declared she wasn’t naked as claimed. Her reason, she was clothed in the Spirit as the Bible teaches.

Drugs are not good for people. (or is that Dubbo?)

Because they moved him forward in the last (or 3rd q) during the west coast game

This is spot on what I said when I first heard this bullocks!

You have heard about his gambling problems etc?
Huge rumours McGuire paid off beams debts to bikies from gambling as they were rocking up to training a few times.

Yes i’ve heard it. True or not that’s not the part i’m talking about.

To think they’d drop a story about Raz as a ‘cover up’ is beyond stupid.

No it isn’t. The AFL and their own sanctioned media outlet are primarily concerned with the optics of the game, first and foremost. Everything they say and do is around controlling the narrative around the game. Stories are timed for maximum effect within the news cycle. This is long established.

Old mate McGowan has backed away from it already and is claiming the article has been misrepresented.

In short he’s sooking it up at getting called out for publishing clickbait rubbish.

Ok so you think that they published a story about Raz to overshadow a story about Beams and his mental health struggles? Because his mental health struggles might be linked to gambling? Right after they had no problems taking Jaidyn Stephenson to the cleaners over his gambling? What a wicked web they weave.

There are very very few things I loathe as much as city snobbery

Taking Stephenson to the cleaners is an interesting take on that scenario…

You can continue thinking they don’t do everything within their power to control the narrative around the game. Enjoy yourself.

So the article was now supposed to say that he will finish his career in SA?

Why would you even write an article about that?

I still maintain that he was asked to write that story from someone who wanted a tree shaken to see what would happen. I suspect someone because the narrative was pushing a particular scenario that suited that someone.

Of course they do. Just not to the paranoid extent that some people in here believe.

What am i meant to be enjoying?
