I don’t know how you could live through the Supplements Saga as an Essendon supporter and not realise the depths to which the AFL will go to preserve it’s image.
The had a fake ‘mother’ call up a radio station complaining how bad we were! A trade article like this has like no downside to them. Have the ‘reporter’ write it. If people complain like they have, he’d simply did what McGowan did and say that’s not what he meant or just claim that’s what his sources said and he’s just passing on info.

I actually believe that there is some truth to the story. I believe that Orazio will request a trade home at some point. Potentially after this current contract.
Someone should have asked him whether he has plans to return home after this contract.

Yeah that’s my thoughts too. I’m actually OK with that, you’d never want to begrudge somebody going home to family and friends, especially if they have served the club well (and hopefully won a premiership).
