#15 Jayden Laverde - π‹π’π―πžπ“›π“ͺ𝓾𝓰𝓱 𝕃𝔸𝕍 (Part 2)

Feel sorry for this guy.

Always played undersized.

The big guys arrive and he’s pushed out of the side.

Then they all get injured and now he’s our only tall and back to being undersized.

Good luck Thursday Lav. Go well.

This week really highlights how funny it was people think he should have been delisted last year (with a year to run on his contract).

He was always going to be just insurance this year. Pretty hard to argue we don’t need it.

They were probably the same people who said we had too many tall players. Look at us now!

First three contests he had were against Cameron, Raynor and Morris.

Lost them all.

Not because he was undersized….

And before the fanbois start defending him. I’m not blaming him for the loss or the putrid lack of effort and physicality in our midfield.

Just pointing out the facts to those that say he battles and loses contests because he’s undersized or on the number one forward.

Just the facts.

Well he’s been a depth player. This is why.

Did we expect him to do any better? He was a back-to-back reverse Coleman winner.

He’s a warrior.

Just a bit limited.

Rest up for the month ahead my sweet king

Battled valiantly. He was good. And I’m no fan.

Need more rain next Sunday

That was a performance that was up there with what he produced in 2021, when he really did play well in defence. And we will need more of that until Reid, McKay and co are back.

Lav is a fine footballer when he doesn’t have the ball.

I’m not a fan but he was very very good tonight.

Goes hard and gives it everything

He actually pulled off a couple of expansive kicks tonight.
