Look mate I love what Lav has done this year but if you donβt think heβs in the bottom 20% of kicks in the AFL then youβre the most biased Essendon fan Iβve ever come across 
The stats are publically available on the AFL website hes an average kick.

β¦ 90% of the kicks he goes for are simple 25 meter kicks sideways so of course his stats will look okay.
Comparing that to mids who have to pick apart zones whilst being chased etc. is just stupid

Why would we be comparing him to mids instead of key defenders?
You do know that some defenders are told to go for harder kicks because they are good by foot?
Lav is not one of them hence why he chips it sideways nearly always.
Yes Lav is not good by foot, hes about average, like ive been saying this whole time. Thats why he passes to Ridley who is an elite kick.
Keep going Lav, you may not be the best kick but doing a hell of a job down there

havenβt seen the vision but if it was to the stomach, Dom Sheed threw a pretty hard one last week and got a fine

I worry that if Henrys shoulders injured they will say its intentional rough conduct, medium or high impact and try and give Lav a week. Surely not thoughβ¦

It wasnβt so much the push in the back, if there was one (with his left hand) that is the issue.
He hit him with a straight arm with his right. Henry fell and injured his shoulder. Itβs a non football action, miles off play, when Henry wouldnβt have expected it, heβs wearing red and black and the player got hurt.
Thereβs not much to it, but there are a lot of factors in there the mrp donβt like.
Iβm a little worried about it. When do the reports come out usually?
Was that the incident that initially injured Henryβs shoulder? If so, then I agree that Lav may be in trouble. Iβm hoping it was already injured and Lav was βtesting it outβ, in which case he might only cop a fine.
Either way, didnβt look good, bit of a brain fade from Lav.
Yeah the Redman incident that people were worried about is a complete non issue. There is more scope for Christian slapping Lav with a week for the incident on Henry. Iβm nervously awaiting the MRP statement later this afternoon.
He may not make All Australian but he does in our team. Congrats Lav you are a shining star.
